DaMontae and Megan

It is always said that we learn from our elders, but what about the life lessons that we learn from those younger than ourselves. To learn about the differences and the things that we take for granted everyday. The things that we think that everyone experiences and or the unthinkable things that we never want to happen to anyone, no matter how much we may dislike them. What if this is wrapped in a package that has taken the events of her life and turned them in the fuel  to fight harder and become a stronger person.

I have been confirmed in my thoughts that there are a select number of people with in this community with its eclectic mix of persons which makes it up, that there leaders that will take it place and heights that it has not seen before. The ground work laid before them by people like the late Harvey Milk and the newly elected United States Senator Tammy Baldwin, that they take these steps and crate a path for themselves that guides others with less resistance and wind at the their backs with comforts them in the rough times but makes them soar in the great times. 

Megan , I know that have been there for each other when the chips seemed stacked against us. I have been grateful for your friendship and level head in times where I just wanted to go off on the next person. In your future endeavors please continue to keep your spirits high and remember that you have people in this life/world that would be lost without you. Continue to be the person you always have been , a fighter for life and stronger for having fought.
