DaMontae and Heather

This is me and my friend Heather. We have been friends since my days at UW-Whitewater. Heather has been there for me through break ups, class, Roads( a car trip game), the pride road trips and just an all around true friend. I miss having her just down the sidewalk or down the street. Has a great way a making comedy from everyday life and keeping me in stitches.

We have been through the trials of starting several on campus group, some successful and some not so much, but all with a purpose of equality for the LGBT community. It would make sense that last year we got matching tattoos of the word Equality.

Heather always jokes that if I were straight that we would probably be a couple. It is probably true as share many of the same tastes in food, music, TV shows, ideals and even in the people that we do and don't like. That is what makes great friends and she would be awesome to live with in our Golden years.

If I were to get married some day to some lucky suitor she would be one of my groomsmaids.

Rarely do you find friends in the exsitence, where you travel 83 or 323 miles just to see them on a weekend. I know that she would do the same if she had a car right now.

She has taught me that you must make the best out of life. Do what you love not, just what makes you money and learn to laugh.

Today's song is Ke$ha Your Love is My Drug
