DaMontae and Austin (My rainbow brotha)

Austin met some months ago when he started working at the RCF. I did not  know that the new guy with the long hair would become a cherish friend. I remember thinking "Yay there is actually another guy working here. He's not bad to look at either:)" We began to talk more as the shifts went on. He told me about his wanting to open a food truck on day, about his being in seminary. I was cautious about talking about myself when he mentioned seminary because of long rugged relationship between LGBTQ+ people and the various churches.

Austin turns out to be quite the awesome ally to the community and I love him for that. It was more awesome when he began to let down his hair (metaphorically, only seen it down once) and I began to see his sense of humor and spirit that burned inside him. We have had each others backs when it has come to client issues. He saved me from nearly getting fired from work. We share a love of lemon bars, burgers, table tops games and many other things. We were totally work spouses. I will be forever grateful for his friendship, compassion, humility. I hope to be the first customer at the burger truck.

No Time to Die

This song has gotten me through some of my recent difficult times. My break up has left me a little bewildered. Billie Eilish you may be under 20 but you can song with such passion and deepness. I hope your 19 years has been not filled pain and your just have a soulful voice. I do not know what my life will be yet but  I know that there is NO TIME TO DIE
